This WP Robot Review is by someone who is actually using it on a site the RIGHT way and can tell you the real Pro’s and Con’s!
UPDATE: Since the Google Panda update autoblogs have lost a lot of favor. Google is looking for quality content. However autoblogging is still a great way to add content specifics like ads, or adding a youtube video to your blog articles on the fly etc. Just don’t think you will create a 1000 page website overnight and have tons of traffic. you won’t.
WP Robot Review and Guide Bullet Points
1) – Yes WP Robot Really Works!
Yes You can generate an autoblog with pretty much as much content including amazon products, ebay auctions, Yahoo news stories and answers, Youtube videos, etc, as you want for your website
Yes, as you will see in this WP Robot Review you have to do a little work:
- Allow 2 hours to set up the profile
- most of this time is spent getting accounts with Amazon, clickbank, etc
- Learn how to set up campaigns
Note: This WP Robot Review did not find WP Robot to be perfect. I could not get the auto run cron job in WordPress to work (this is what lets you auto run WP Robot every xx hours or days to drip feed in content so it builds your site in a natural way).
But they gave great simple instructions on how to put a cron job on one on my webhosts server instead so no problem.
- This is a known problem. WP Robot says it is caused by a plugin conflict.
- I was to lazy to uninstall all my plugins one at a time to see what caused it
- The WP Robot instructions for the Unix Cron Job on the server were simple and took less then 5 minutes
- So really no problem
- FYI – Cron jobs are an icon click at the bottom of the Cpanel. They give you the code to insert into the cron job at the bottom or the options set up page for WP-Robot.
WP Robot Review favorite Feature
The best feature in my opinion is the little WP Robot Icon you get on the post editor
- This lets you auto insert any of the 15 auto content subjects on the fly in a post
- So you can ad an amazon item or two on the fly to any post
- or a you tube video
- This is great to ad an Article to a You tube video so the Search engine gets Keyword Rich text to crawl and rank the video page.
- I like to mix in a video or an article with a you tube feature all on the same page. Ads Value to your readers. Then you can tack on an amazon ad or two and it just flows in with the article theme.
- To do all this takes 10 minutes for an article that would have taken me 2 hours and not have had the monetization and all the subject matter.
- And yes you can skip this and auto generate the whole thing in a second if you want.
WARNING! – If you use an editor plugin like CKEditor (which is 10x better then the stock WordPress edito) you lose the little WP Robot Icon for the auto content insert on the fly. SO I just deactivate the CKEditor plugin when I want to add content like amazon ads and then reactivate the editor when I am done os I can have all the editing features of the CKEditor plugin.
YES I AM SEEING A TRAFFIC INCREASE FROM THE ADDED PAGES ALREADY. In only a week, Cool. But not huge yet. So I am going to update this as it progresses.
Update: I have many many first page on google posts now that were created using the WP Robot Plugin. Here is my basic formula:

1) I set up a custom campaign.
2) I use the Google Keyword Tool to generate a list of Keywords that I want to generate articles for. So if my site is about Dogs I would enter Dogs in the keyword search, generate a keyword list, Download then to excel, copy them and paste them into a campaign I named Dogs.
I use the WP Robot “Make Unique” control to put quotes around all the keywords so it only generates directly related articles
3) I use the {keyword} tag in the heading, followed by a comma and then the {Yahoo News} title tag in the heading to give it a keyword specific heading.
4) I use the same heading at the start of the WP Robot Post template. I use the same basic post template for every article. Something like this:

{thumbnail}
{yahoonews}
{yahoonewstitle}|Lastest {Keyword} News]
{yahooanswers}
{yahoonewstitle}|Lastest {Keyword} News]
{youtube}

{Amazon}
5) The above will give me the keyword specific title in between each WP Robot generated piece of content. Google likes this
6) I just learned how to customize the template so I get an H1 heading tag for the first title.
7) I set it up to create a new article every day at first as I build the site and then once a week later on. Initially
I use the Onlywire Auto submitter plugin to submit the article to the social sites to get the article indexed and generate traffic.
9) I use
SEO Search terms Tagging 2 plugin (FREE),
Platinum SEO plugin (Free)
and SEO
AND this works great. Even on a brand new site I get traffic almost right away and it builds naturally until around month 3 when Google allows it to skyrocket.
AND I AM MAKING MONEY OFF THESE ARTICLES THANKS TO THE AMAZON MODULE!!!!
There are 15 different Modules that you can pull articles and things to sell from. I mainly use:
- Youtube
- Articles
- Yahoo answers
- Yahoo News
- Clickbank
- These are just my preference of what type of content I like
- I have NOT used RSS Feeds yet. No need to. Most RSS Feed sI have tried in the past just give you the title and a few sentences of content and a link back to the sending site. Well I don’t want that. I want the whole content.
- I Have NOT tried WP Robot and the 10,000 feeds out there to see if I can find some that give you the whole thing. I am sure there are many. But I get plenty of good auality content as it is so why bother?
I DO NOT use the features to rewrite / spin the articles! YOU DO NOT NEED TO!
- There is NO google penalty for duplicate content that is an urban myth
- Spinning the content makes it sound like english as a second language and make a lot of it useless and unreadable
- I Want readers to read the article and maybe buy the related item at the end of the article
- Auto provided by setting up the theme in the campaign
- So I get an article and a couple of Amazon items
- all on the same keyword automatically by WP Robot. TOTALLY COOL.
The only other problem I have right now is the ShopZilla module won’t work for me because Shopzilla has not given me a key to use their feed yet. Either I made a mistake in trying or they are just new at it and don’t have their act together. I will work on that later.
- I wish the Clickbank feed would give me more info. But I like that it finds keyword related clickbank offers for me to sell.
- I just go to clickbank and get some content from the brief info that WP Robot gave me and use that
- I also then use the on the fly feature and add an article or yahoo questions to the post to give it less of a sales page feed.
- Or I write a custom article if It is a product that i have experience with.
I have purchased and used several other auto blogging modules (one for youtube, one for yahoo answers etc.
- And they BLOW compared to this.
- No comparison at all.
- They were cheaper but they did not do 1/10th what WP Robot Does.
- I stopped using them months ago.
- While on that subject if you buy something and it sucks return it (I usually don’t but I should) and if not don;’t waste your time with it and find something better (I am good at that at least).
So Yes, I actually have licenses to the bullshit youtube and yahoo autocontent plugins (not going to name them so I don’t get sued or something) and they were so limited that I bought WP Robot and have stopped usiong the others. Actually I stopped using the others severl months ago because they were crap.

YES IT WORKS GREAT
YES IT IS A BUY
YES YOU SHOULD BUY IT
NO I WOULDN’T SAY THAT IF IT SUCKED (For Example, I have bought and tried a number of tools that sucked (like 2 different article submitter tools) and I have not and will not sell them on my site.)

you have too high keyword density for "wordpress" and "wp robot" keywords. do you think you will be/allready penalized by google for it?
Good question.
Google uses contextual checking and I think as long as your web page uses sentences that make sense,
and there is no obvious keyword stuffing attempt, then google will not penalize yo for too much density.
By the same token, I don’t think that too little density hurts much anymore either.
Density is much less relavent then it used to be.
